INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring, and install it to the valve.

HINT:

  • When reusing the ventilation valve sub-assembly, inspect the O-ring.
  • If the O-ring has scratches or cuts, replace the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

(b) Install the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

Torque: 5.0 N·m (51 kgf·cm, 44 in·lbf)

2. CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE



(a) Connect the ventilation hose.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER 3UR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: AIR SWITCHING VALVE: INSTALLATION (2008 Sequoia)+

4. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Install the intake manifold 3UR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: INTAKE MANIFOLD: INSTALLATION (2008 Sequoia) .
